Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DreamAtlas.ai, the Dream Atlas web and mobile experiences, and any related products, content, notifications, or community features (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by them and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Inform us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Services, Memberships & Payments

Dream Atlas may offer free features, paid memberships, donations, or experimental tools. Pricing, tiers, and inclusions may change with notice posted in-product or via email.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

4. User Content & License Grants

You retain ownership of the prose, interpretations, journal entries, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content you grant Dream Atlas a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, adapt, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services.

You represent that you have all rights necessary for the content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in harassment, infringement, scraping, reverse engineering, automated account creation, or any activity that disrupts or degrades the Services.

You may not use the Services to develop competing datasets, models, or commercial offerings without written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, logos, trademarks, dream interpretations, analytics, UI components, and other materials provided by Dream Atlas are owned by Dream Atlas or its licensors.

All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved unless otherwise required by governing law or a separate written agreement.

7. Confidentiality & Privacy

If you receive access to non-public product information, prototypes, or research, you must treat such information as confidential unless we provide written permission to disclose it.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to those practices.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with third-party data providers, payment processors, or content platforms. Dream Atlas is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services and your use of them is governed by their respective terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Dream Atlas does not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of dream interpretations, or outcomes derived from using the Services.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAM ATLAS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

In all cases, Dream Atlas’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amounts paid by you to Dream Atlas in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dream Atlas, its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or to comply with legal obligations. You may discontinue use at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless another venue is required by applicable law.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or policy updates. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable notice via the Services or email. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
